Activities & Accommodations

Where to Stay:

We highly recommend using HomeAway.com to find a rental house for the weekend. There are many options in the towns of Margaretville, Fleischmanns and Roxbury. Booking a larger cabin for a group can make the stay more affordable.

There are also several campgrounds in the area. You can make reservations on ReserveAmerica.com. Woodland Valley and Little Pond are two larger campgrounds relatively close to the wedding location. Be aware that it can get quite cold at night in late September. Unfortunately, no camping is allowed on the wedding property.

For Saturday night only, we can accommodate extra people at the barn, though it may entail sleeping on a couch or air mattress. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to stay with us on Saturday.

Other options in the area include: The Roxbury (a bit pricey, a bit odd),  Margaretville Inn (more reasonable, quaint), Margaretville Motel (reasonable, in town), Queens Mountain Inn (above a restaurant in town), Spillian (funky, midprice B&B, call for availability).
